Government Fraud Cases
It is illegal for any company that does business with the State or Federal Government to make fraudulent claims for payment to the State or Federal Government. This would include overcharging or fraudulent billing related to Medicare/Medicaid patients. The law provides that, in these instances, individuals are empowered to seek enforcement of the law to end fraudulent billing, and may be entitled to financial recovery for reporting the fraud.
